A spokesperson for president-elect Donald Trump's inauguration committee told CNN that Friend of Donald Kanye West was not invited to perform at the real estate mogul's inaugural because

Ye's music wasn't right for the "typically and traditionally American event."
Tom Barrack, chairman of the Presidential Inauguration Committee, told CNN's Erin Burnett that the inauguration wasn't a "fitting" venue for West, who famously met with Trump in December and posed for a stiff photo at Trump Tower afterwards and whose music is about to be the subject of a course at Washington University in St. Louis called "Politics of Kanye West: Black Genius and Sonic Aesthetics."

I wonder if Kanye understands the code?

Allow me to translate: An inauguration is no place for your jungle music, n-word.

Never Forget
"typically and traditionally American"
"white people" to white people

And it's not just conservative whites that conflate "American" with "Whites"

I watched an entire four hour documentary about Barack Obama's presidency on "liberal" PBS just yesterday. Durinig Frontline's "The Divided States Of America" the narrator said "Americans" when he CLEARLY meant "White Americans" Whether good information was in the documentary or not, the narrator did this over and over and over again. And this kind of e-race-sure and white-face-saving is offensive in 2016.

Furthermomre, Donald Trump is the direct outcome of e-race-sure of race and white racism plus white-face-saving -- no matter how stoic and professional a manner this the e-race-sure and white-face-saving is done in.

I suppose I ought to be glad some white run news agencies can recognize when this nobody-but-whites-are-really-Amercan insult is being issued. A lot of them couldn't just a few years back.
