WAR HERO TAMMY DUCKWORTH BECOMES THE FIRST SENATOR IN HISTORY TO GIVE BIRTH

Feeling Rebloggy
In 2004, while on deployment in Iraq, the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) was co-piloting was hit by a rocket grenade launcher. Duckworth would lose her right leg near the hip and her left leg below the knee from injuries she suffered in the attack.

She's a hero for more reasons than one. She usually doesn't hesitate when it comes to Cheetolini's hypocritical nonsense. Earlier this year, when he seemed bent on starting a war with North Korea, she  "read the president for filth (as the kids say)"

“I spent my entire adult life looking out for the well-being, the training, the equipping of the troops for whom I was responsible,” she continued. “Sadly, this is something that the current occupant of the Oval Office does not seem to care to do—and I will not be lectured about what our military needs by a five-deferment draft dodger.”
She wasn’t done: “And I have a message for Cadet Bone Spurs: If you cared about our military, you’d stop baiting Kim Jong Un into a war that could put 85,000 American troops, and millions of innocent civilians, in danger.”

With the arrival of a baby girl named Maile, Duckworth becomes one of just 10 women to give birth while serving in Congress. Duckworth, 50, had her first child in 2014, while she was a member of the House of Representatives.
