How Nearly 61 Percent of Arkansas Voters Shot Themselves In The Face & Took Anti-Trumpers With Them

When They Voted For Trump In 2016
A major initiative of the Trump administration has been adding work requirements to benefit programs for the [implied to be lazy] poor....[That] includes Medicaid for the first time in its history...This year, Arkansas became the first state to roll out the requirement. As a result, more than 12,000 people there have lost their coverage...

  • Adrian McGonigal:I thought that everything was good about this. I thought it was just a one-time deal, that you report it, and then that was it.
Catherine Rampell:He was wrong. He was supposed to log those hours online every month. He became one of the 12,000 people that the state has booted from the Medicaid rolls in the last three months.

[What's more,] Arkansas has the lowest household Internet access of any state," [so] it can be difficult for Medicaid recipients to log their work hours in the online-only portal, which shuts down from 9:00 pm every night until 7:00 am the next day...”

So is Adrian --now living off his Mama at 40 years of age-- saying that he thought this republican plan was all-good because only the lazy non-working folk were going to be the ones SOL as far as getting access to healthcare?

Maybe I'm reading between the lines wrong. However, there are plenty of people who think like Adrian might be thinking. And I don't understand how you can live in a country as rich as this one and not believe that everyone deserves to see a doctor when they are ill...period.

THE ACLU WINS ITS VOTER PURGE CASE IN OHIO

Feeling Rebloggy

BACKGROUND First, similar stories of voter purges happening in Texas and in Georgia too. Then read about Ohio where the
ACLU won a reversal today.

BACKGROUND 1: THE TEXAS PURGE
Lane was one of 4,000 voters whose registrations were personally challenged by a single Republican, Alan Vera, who chairs the Harris County GOP’s “Ballot Security Committee.”
This sort of individual challenge is illegal in some states, but Texas law permits it. Republicans blamed the county’s election registrar, a Democrat, for automatically suspending the registrations of 1,700 of those voters — but not before Vera boasted on his Facebook page about what he was up to:
Voters whose registrations were suspended for failure to return a confirmation postcard would have to cast provisional ballots, which are “reviewed by the Ballot board,” he wrote, “and I appoint all Republican members of that board.” His “project,” he added, “could make a big difference in the November election results.”
Stories like Lane’s are becoming all too familiar to a growing number of American voters, who are being dropped from the rolls at a rapid clip, particularly in states with histories of voter discrimination.
Such purges are the new face of voter suppression, civil rights advocates say. Unlike the Jim Crow laws of yore, which blocked access to the rolls with tests and taxes, voter purges take registered voters — often, voters of color — and make them disappear. And unlike voter ID laws, which at least give voters advanced warning, purges can be sudden, silent, untraceable, and irremediable.

BACKGROUND 2: THE GEORGIA PURGE
(by a man now running for governor)
Even by Georgia standards, the voter purge of late July 2017 was remarkable. In a single day, more than half a million people — 8 percent of Georgia’s registered voters — were cut from the voter rolls. Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp, an avid supporter of President Donald Trump who has described himself as a “politically incorrect conservative,” oversaw the removals eight months after he’d declared himself a candidate for governor.
Democrat Stacey Abrams and Republican Brian Kemp are competing in a potentially historic toss-up race to become Georgia’s next governor.

The purge was noteworthy for another reason: For an estimated 107,000 of those people, their removal from the voter rolls was triggered not because they moved or died or went to prison, but rather because they had decided not to vote in prior elections, according to an APM Reports analysis. Many of those previously registered voters may not even realize they’ve been dropped from the rolls. If they show up at the polls on Nov. 6 to vote in the heated Georgia governor’s race, they won’t be allowed to cast a ballot.

TODAY'S HEADLINE IN OHIO

Federal judges order Ohio to allow purged voters back in

Federal judges on Wednesday ordered Ohio to allow voters who had been purged for not voting over a six-year period to participate in this year's election.
A divided 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel granted an emergency motion sought by voting-rights groups. The ruling overturned in part an Oct. 10 ruling by a federal judge that said voters haven't been illegally purged from Ohio's rolls.
Plaintiffs led by the A. Philip Randolph Institute in June lost their broader challenge to Ohio's election administration process as unconstitutional when the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in favor of Ohio's practices.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/federal-judges-order-ohio-allow-purged-voters-back-n929526

  • At issue is a method Ohio uses to identify people who have moved and are no longer eligible to vote. The state sends notices to those who fail to cast a ballot during a two-year period. People who do not respond and don't vote over the next four years, including in two more federal elections, are dropped from the list of registered voters.
In other words, if you miss a single midterm election in Ohio, you're warned about being dropped. If you then miss a presidential election, then another midterm, you're dropped of the registered rolls.

In other words, people in Ohio who only vote in presidential elections? If they're sick and skip a single election, they'll no longer be registered in Ohio because there will have been an 8 year gap -- and all you are allowed 2 before  you get a warning in the mail and a total of 6 years is all you are allowed, as far as not voting goes, in Ohio.

The republicans rejoice every single time less people are able to vote.

Gee, I wonder why that is?

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/supreme-court-appears-likely-approve-ohio-s-voter-purging-n836501

However, today, the ACLU won a temporary battle in time for next week's election because voters weren't notified properly that this was happening.

Jim Crow style laws are mostly after black and brown people, but a bunch of white people are going to get caught up in this too. Because now that the Supreme Court has said that this voter purging is legal if the notifications are right, voter purging is going to spread across the country

...unless we flip state governments out of republican hands too.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/federal-judges-order-ohio-allow-purged-voters-back-n929526

Lesson 1: Vote in all midterms

Lesson 2: Vote in all local elections

We need to change the democratic party for the browner and bolder. That means we need Stacy Abrams to win in Georgia and Andrew Gillium to win in Florida so they can be part of leading that change.

PAUL MANAFORT'S FOURTH CHOICE

from
THE DAILY BEAST
"Paul Manafort, the former campaign chairman for President Donald Trump, was convicted of eight counts of tax fraud and bank fraud by a federal jury in Virginia earlier Tuesday.
But it’s far from over for Manafort.

Manafort’s Choices: Work With Mueller, [HOPE LIKE HELL] for Trump Pardon, or Die in Prison

Unlike a typical defendant, Manafort still has several options available to him. His next move, and Trump’s response to it, could have explosive impact on the larger special counsel investigation and on the future of Trump’s presidency.
Next up for Manafort is sentencing. While all eight counts of conviction combined carry a maximum of 80 years in prison, he isn’t going to be locked up until 2098. Federal sentences are determined in part through a calculation based on the defendant’s prior criminal history (for Manafort, none) and the seriousness of the offense (for Manafort, very).
... All things considered, Manafort likely faces a sentence of around eight to twelve years in prison. For a 69-year-old man, that could mean life behind bars...

I've been dancing in the streets the last couple of days, especially after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen said he's going to cooperate with Mueller.

But these rich white boys are not fools. We all know they mostly stick together.  And I'll bet you a million doughnuts Manafort's  financial behavior is standard in the circles he runs in.
...which might include some of judge's running buddies depending on how much money he earns per year.
Reading between the lines of news stories here, there, and everywhere over the last couple of weeks, the judge in Manafort's case was either trying extra hard to make sure the prosecution's case was solid OR he was trying to trip the prosecution up; he made that many calls against the prosecution during the trial.
So, I say the forth choice Manafort has is a hail mary from the judge himself because, in my opinion, Paul Manafort should be visualized as a white cop on this occassion.

That is, the judge could very well say, "Yeah, the jury found you guilty. But... well.... everybody does what you do. And this was a political witch hunt aimed at Orange Voldemort anyway. You just got caught up in it.  So I'm going to give you 8 months in Club Fed "

...a prison which may have cells fancier than half of all eighteen year olds' apartments.

However, I'm still dancing in the streets. And I'll stay until the party is over. But I'll be kinda surprised if Manafort goes to jail for a whole 3 years, much less the rest of his entitled life.

By the way, a pardon from Trump is not out of the question.
Trump has proven beyond a doubt that all but 10 out of the 532 congress people in Washington to represent us are toothless cowards. He can do whatever the hell he wants until the Senate and House Of Representatives is dominated by the democrats.
And if Pelosi-The-Spineless-Whisperer and Whiny Grandpa Schumer are still running thangs --if by some miracle the House AND THE SENATE do change hands in November--  Apricot @$$wipe might STILL be able to do whatever the hell he wants.

I'm still dancing though.

Manafort and Dayglo Orange Dumb@$$ are going to be sweating and hyperventilating until after sentencing is done.   And Cohen, Omarosa, and Mueller could wind up carpet bombing Chump and Manafort with new and ugly revelations for days, maybe even weeks.

SOOO...

Here's to hoping Manafort panics and runs into Mueller's arms, starts whispering everything Mueller wants to hear, and gets that impeachment rolling for real.

SINCLAIR GROUP TURNS ONE-THIRD OF LOCAL NEWS STATIONS INTO RIGHT-WING PROPAGANDA MACHINES

A conservative, rich white guy who owns Sinclair Group is helping Trump present his "alternate facts" as news.

Apparently the Sinclair Group has been forcing news anchors across the country to read promotional scripts as news. And they are all using the same script to say all the other news stations are presenting what Trump calls "Fake News" -- which Trump trots out to...
  •  stop us finding out about all those connections his people have to Russia;
  •  sleeping with strippers and Playboy bunnies
  • claim the crowd at his inauguration was larger than President Obama's.

Please give this video two minutes.

If this doesn't represent a rich white Trump supporter attempting to brainwash 1/3rd of the country, then what is it?

Sinclair Group's even has  ex-Trump  surrogates,  presenting Trump's views as facts (see second video below)  -- when it's already been established Trump lies for sport.

TRUMP OPENLY BRAGS ABOUT LYING TO JUSTIN TRUDEAU’S FACE

This is dangerous.

The Sinclair Group has the ability to turn 1/3 of television news stations into right-wing propaganda sites.

And Right Wing websites are conspiracy theory generating machines. Not only do the (mostly white) people that watch them believe in Trump's "alternate facts," they also believe in things like "Pizza-gate"  --that theory that had Hillary Clinton running a pedophile ring out of a Pizza place.

I'm not kidding about Pizza-gate. That's a real thing. And Trump supporter Roseanne Barr who recently brought her television show ROSEANNE back to television last week, made a loose reference to Pizza-gate just last week.

We cannot afford to have this level of crazy pumped out over the evening news and have people mistake it for news.

I'm thinking that the chances of having some sort of regulatory agency in the government coming in to stop this madness while the republicans are in charge are probably nil - even though I sense some "moderate" republicans are afraid of Trump's level of crazy just about now.

I guess we will see.

Or maybe our fourth estate will prove able to clean its own house. PBS and other news affiliates are pushing back.

NET NEUTRALITY IS NOT DEAD YET SO FIGHT BACK

WHAT IS NET NEUTRALITY
AND WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT PAYING
A HIGHER INTERNET BILL FOR LESS INTERNET SERVICE?

Read This First: https://blackchickrocked.blogspot.com/2017/12/how-ending-net-neutrality-will-make.html

The FCC’s vote may be final, but net neutrality is still far from dead. The new order won’t go into effect for weeks, and internet activists are expected to quickly file lawsuits to block the decision. Basically, there’s still time to save the free and open web, and you can help do it.

In a series of tweets, former political reporter and current John Hopkins graduate student Celeste Pewter argues that the best way to save net neutrality at this point is to get Congress and state governments involved. Here are all the people you should be contacting, and pre-written scripts to use when you do.

HOW ENDING NET NEUTRALITY WILL MAKE PAYING FOR INTERNET LIKE PAYING FOR CABLE TV

The longer Trump's in office, putting greedy robber barons in places of political power, the more I learn about political corruption.

Until this year, I had no idea the Federal Communications Commission had a board that was made up of conservatives and progressives.

By a vote of 3 to 2 the FCC voted this week to end Net Neutrality rules put in place by President Obama

This was a direct result of Trump putting Ajit Pai in charge of the FCC. He's taken steps to ensure Internet Service Providers like Spectrum, Time Warner, and AT&T will have the ability to slow down your internet service depending on what you're using their service for OR charge you additional fees on top of what you are already paying for your basic service.

And it seems like Pai did this because he used to work for a law firm that works for companies interested in making more profit off providing internet service.

Jenner & Block has represented communications industry clients at the FCC, the Department of Justice and other regulatory agencies across the country. No firm has both the experience and credibility that Jenner & Block enjoys before the FCC and other regulatory agencies...
https://jenner.com/practices/105/ourwork
No conflict of interest here? What are you talking about? So what if he goes back to work for Jenner and Block again eventually.  (<---extreme sarcasm)

To be specific, If Net Neutrality becomes a thing of the past, your internet provider that's already charging you $35 a month can decide they don't want to provide you enough bandwidth for Netflix unless you pay $5 extra per month for it.

Your internet provider could also decide they don't want to let you have access to enough bandwidth to have access for facebook, instagram at all, unless you pay a separate fee for a social media package $10 too.

In Portugal, paying for internet service is a lot like paying for cable television. You pay for basic service. Then you pay for packages depending on what you'd like to access.

In other words, cable cutters like me are about to be paying the best part of $100 a month for television because Netflix, Hulu, and the rest will be require a separate charge on top of basic cable service.

People are saying that nothing will change much in the U.S.

...at first.

And, I'm sure that's true. Those who want to make profit over the long term, like Internet Service Providers and law firms who represent them, do not want voters to wake up suddenly as a result of a bunch of new fees, then align with states suing the FCC over this decision.

But make no mistake, making more money is the goal of these huge companies like Time Warner, AT&T, and Spectrum. They'll nickle and dime us first, with little fees you don't really notice...same as companies used to do to phone bills.

Last year, AT&T told me that I'd have to PAY to have my telephone internet service cut off if I ran out of data. I wanted to do this rather pay 100 dollars a second for overage charges. AT&T told me I'd have to pay $5 extra a month and then they WOULD not change my service for me. They added the charges and made me figure out how to set this up on line
AT&T is at the wrong end of a class action suit every few years over fees and other crooked crap. Therefore, I have no doubt companies like AT&T will start fee-ing us to pieces as the result of no more Net Neutrality.
The end of net neutrality could make internet service couple price poor, heavily mostly black and brown areas, right out of internet markets. It could even make internet service unaffordable for schools and libraries too eventually
MORE EXTRA CHARGES

We may not be in Portugal's shoes yet, but this is likely the goal of companies that Trump's appointed FCC Chairman used to work for through his former employer.

Jenner & Block has represented communications industry clients at the FCC, the Department of Justice and other regulatory agencies across the country. No firm has both the experience and credibility that Jenner & Block enjoys before the FCC and other regulatory agencies. Jenner & Block has developed particular skills in matters including spectrum and wireless matters, cable regulation, telephone competition, Internet and other advanced services, pricing and intercarrier compensation, and access charges. The following is a small sample of representative matters...
    https://jenner.com/practices/105/ourwork

I wonder if this is what the calculations will eventually look like for Internet Service Providers:
"Okay we're going to move to cable type pricing for our internet service today...We project we will lose 1 million poor people as clients altogether; let the 5 million working poor to pay the same price for BASIC INTERNET SERVICE (same as basic cable) where they can google stuff and shop BUT nothing else; and then we'll increase prices 33% across 250 million people."

So will Ajit Pai be working for Jenner and Block when he is done with his stint at the FCC?

Or will he profit more directly from his decisions as FCC Chairman by going to work for one his his former employer's clients?

How long will he have to wait to do this per federal conflict of interest rules --that nobody really enforces? A whole two years?

Once again, Trump has made another maneuver where the rich get richer. Internet Service Providers, always playing the long con, will likely not do anything to stir the pot while everybody's looking at them...while states are suing them. But all of us, in some way or another, are going to wind up paying through the nose in the long term.

    LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Republicans give unnecessary tax cut to the richest and blow up the deficit. Will then say they are deficit conscious and try to cut Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, health care; ruining middle class lives. Remember this-get rid of them in 2018 election  ~ reportedly an ERIC HOLDER TWEET

We all knew this was coming. But the ink isn't even dry on the republican cut taxes for the rich plan yet.

THE HOUSE OF MOUSE HAS TOO MUCH POWER

This doesn't have anything to do with racism or sexism, but classism

    Feeling Rebloggy
Four eminent film critics’ groups have announced that films from the Walt Disney Company will not be eligible for their respective annual awards until the company lifts a media blackout against the Los Angeles Times.
    • The Boston Society of Film Critics, the New York Film Critics Circle, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and the National Society of Film Critics released a joint statement Tuesday that read in part, “On Nov. 3, The Times published a statement that its writers and editors had been blocked from attending advance screenings of Disney films, in response to The Times’ news coverage of Disney’s business arrangements with the City of Anaheim. Disney’s actions, which include an indefinite ban on any interaction with The Times, are antithetical to the principles of a free press and set a dangerous precedent in a time of already heightened hostility toward journalists.”

I'm glad there was severe push back. But Disney has too much power as do Rupurt Murdock, ATT, and Time Warner. These huge conglomerates are merging and diverging and trading news outlets betwixt each other like crazy. It seems like less than a dozen individuals in the one-percenter class already have control over every bit of news and entertainment we mentally consume. And they're trying to reduce that number to 5 or 6 with upcoming mergers.

You see how Disney is acting already, right?

This is not good.  People like Cornell West have been saying America is about to be one giant corporation instead of a republic for a while now. I think we are well on our way.

BIPARTISAN AGREEMENT TO FIX OBAMACARE UNTIL 2019

    feeling rebloggy
On Tuesday, Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Patty Murray, D-Wash., announced they struck a deal to shore up the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. Per NBC’s Frank Thorp and Leigh Ann Caldwell, the deal includes:
    • Allowing states to waive out of insurance coverage requirements;
    • Granting catastrophic coverage plans for younger Americans;
    • And providing “interstate compacts” for purchasing insurance.
What’s more, the New York Times reports that the deal would restore money for advertising and outreach that the Trump administration also cut.

The usual bipartisan suspects praised the deal. "I'm very pleased that Lamar Alexander and Patty Murray continue to work so hard to try to stabilize the insurance markets," Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, said on “MTP Daily” yesterday. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., added: “I’m very, very excited about this.” And Sen. John McCain said in a statement: “While this deal certainly doesn’t solve all the problems caused by Obamacare, it shows that good faith, bipartisan negotiations can achieve consensus on lasting reform.”
But here’s the fundamental question: Will Republican leaders (especially in the House) and President Trump take the deal? Because it’s going to test how pragmatic they can be, especially with Steve Bannon licking his chops.
Trump embraces the deal — and then appears to back away
    ~NBC
    READ MORE: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/first-read/there-s-bipartisan-deal-fix-obamacare-will-trump-gop-take-n811801

In other words, there's a deal on the table that will require a president who talks out of both sides of his mouth to endorse it consistently -- when his two main goals are 1) undermine anything the black president did  2) get tax dollars back to the rich folk.

    OR

Both houses of government, filled with republicans, will have to do something that looks like they are saving the hated "Obamacare" to help low income families as opposed to rich people who want that money to be put back into the government so it can be used to lower rich folks tax rates.

I can't wait to see what happens. The poorest white people, like those in Kentucky, are among those who voted for Trump. We'll see if he slits their collective throats to save the affluent instead.

THE WALL THAT BARACK OBAMA BUILT AND TRUMP'S BELOVED RUSSIA

The Wall That Barack Obama built has a name.

And that wall’s name is “The Magnitsky Act”

Sometime prior to the end of 2012, a man named Bill Browder contact the Obama Administration about a series of criminal acts he’d been investigating in regards to corruption within the Russian government. Browder also told the Obama Administration about the death of his investigator, Sergei Magnitsky, who was tortured and killed by Russia.

As a result of those discussions, President Obama signed the Magnitsky Act and put a wall between Vladimir Putin and his money.
"...The main intention of the law was to punish Russian officials who were thought to be responsible for the death of Sergei Magnitsky by prohibiting their entrance to the United States and their use of its banking system...
In November 2012, provisions of the Magnitsky bill were attached to a House bill (H.R. 6156) normalizing trade with Russia (i.e., repealing the Jackson–Vanik amendment) and Moldova.[8] On December 6, 2012, the U.S. Senate passed the House version of the law.[5] The law was signed by President Barack Obama on December 14, 2012
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnitsky_Act

According to new testimony Bill Browder gave last week --while Anthony Scaramucci was doing the loudest, nastiest, most foul mouthed tap dance he could -- Putin’s endeavors have left him with more than 200 billion dollars in foreign accounts

    – most of which he cannot get to because The Magnitsky Act.

Two hundred billion dollars has more zeros than I can hold in my head. But I understand that Putin potentially has twice as much money as the official richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos (Amazon), has at 90 Billion dollars.

HOW TO STEAL MONEY AND INFLUENCE PEOPLEBILL BROWDER ON VLADAMIR PUTIN

Russia has a well-known reputation for corruption; unfortunately, I discovered that it was far worse than many had thought.
While working in Moscow I learned that Russian oligarchs stole from shareholders, which included the fund I advised. Consequently, I had an interest in fighting this endemic corruption, so my firm started doing detailed research on exactly how the oligarchs stole the vast amounts of money that they did. When we were finished with our research we would share it with the domestic and international media.

For a time, this naming and shaming campaign worked remarkably well and led to less corruption and increased share prices in the companies we invested in. Why? Because President Vladimir Putin and I shared the same set of enemies... [because]he found that the oligarchs had misappropriated much of the president’s power as well...

That all changed in July 2003, when Putin arrested Russia’s biggest oligarch and richest man, Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Putin grabbed Khodorkovsky, [the son of two Jewish engineers],  off his private jet, took him back to Moscow, put him on
    Khodorkovsky's Courtroom Cage(?)
trial, and allowed television cameras to film Khodorkovsky sitting in a cage right in the middle of the courtroom. That image was extremely powerful, because none of the other oligarchs wanted to be in the same position.
After Khodorkovsky’s conviction, the other oligarchs went to Putin and asked him what they needed to do to avoid sitting in the same cage as Khodorkovsky. From what followed, it appeared that Putin’s answer was, “Fifty percent.” He wasn’t saying 50 percent for the Russian government or the presidential administration of Russia, but 50 percent for Vladimir Putin personally.

From that moment on, Putin became the biggest oligarch in Russia and the richest man in the world, and my anti-corruption activities would no longer be tolerated.
    https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/07/bill-browders-testimony-to-the-senate-judiciary-committee/534864/

If you don’t that think the 200 Billion Dollar Man in Russia doesn’t make our Head Clown in Washington drool every time he even thinks about a picture of Putin –especially when you add in the fact that Russia has supplanted Nazi Germany as far as looking like all-white-nirvana to today’s hardcore white racists--then you haven’t been paying attention to the core of Mean Tangerine’s character.

Bill Browder's testimony explains everything, puts all the pieces together.

This explains everything including why Putin wanted Trump in the White House

Now we know why Russia wanted Trump in the White House so badly.  Trump's likely envy of all things Putin makes Trump a hell of a lot easier to puppet than Hillary, Bernie, or damn near anybody else that was in the running.
This explains everything including why Trump went on television and said, "We have a lot of killers" too in response Bill O'Reilly's statement that "Putin is a killer."

Trump actually went on television and laughed-off Putin's "extrajudicial" killings when Putin was reportedly a busy boy at the beginning of this year.  Nikolai Gorokhov, the guy that supposedly “fell” from a fourth story window, did so just before he was due to testify in a Russian courtroom...was also supposedly a victim of Putin's.
This explains everything including just how important Trump Jr's conversation with lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya was in the summer of 2016
Natalia Veselnitskaya, the same Kremlin linked lawyer that Trump Jr met to in order to get dirt on Hillary, is also Putin's point woman on getting the Magnitsky Act repealed...according to Broder.

This explains everything including why Trump supposedly told Trump Jr. to "lie" or "mislead" and say he went to go see this Russian lawyer about “adoptions” instead of telling the truth about going to get dirt on Hillary
"It was a short introductory meeting. I asked Jared and Paul to stop by. We primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children that was active and popular with American families years ago and was since ended by the Russian government, but it was not a campaign issue at that time and there was no follow up."
"I was asked to attend the meeting by an acquaintance, but was not told the name of the person I would be meeting with beforehand."
    http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-jr-statements-russia-lawyer-meeting-natalia-veselnitskaya-2017-7

When Trump Jr. got caught lying or "being misleading" he admitted he was seeking dirt Hillary Clinton from the Russians for his father's presidential campaign. Then later we found out there were  more people in the room then he let on, including Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law and current Senior Adviser

The initial adoptions "lie" confused the heck out of me for days and days. But adoptions are actually linked to the Magnitsky Act. In response to the Magnitsky, Putin put a moratorium on white Americans being able to adopt white Russian babies, some of whom are gravely ill.
This explains everything, including the use of the T-word
Let's look at all the possible motivations regarding Trump Jr's meeting with Putin's Kremlin linked lawyer
    • Undoing the Magnitsky Act gets Putin his money
    • Getting a Russia friendly president installed in the White House, undoes the Magnitsky Act
    • Promising to undo the Magnitsky Act if his Russia friendly father is elected gets Russian espionaged(?) dirt on Hillary Clinton.
    • Getting Dirt on Hillary Clinton gets Russia friendly Trump in the White House.
This explains why some people have said the T-word (Treason) Trump Jr went to speak to a lawyer about withheld Russian “adoptions”
If Trump Jr. spoke to Russian agents trying to remove the Magnitsky Act (which is connected to Russian adoptions via Putin's spiteful response), isn't that the same as trying to undercut the standing orders of a sitting president?
Why wouldn't that be considered treason and not just "collusion?"

This explains even more about Trump's love for all things Putin, not just Russia

D J The Chump’s paltry 3.7 Billion dollar fortune plus his new presidency has him dreaming of becoming just like 200 Billion Dollar Man in Russia.  This is likely THE REASON why Mean Tangerine keeps reaching out to kiss Putin no matter how many different investigations are going on about Russia.
Trump's idolizing Putin would explain everything including Trump's stalling before signing of the bipartisan sanctions against Russia (and others) --these sanctions, which also limit his power to reduce sanctions, have so much support that Trump’s could have been overridden if he had refused to sign.

Bill Browder has linked everything together. And the American public barely heard it thanks to the White House chaos that seemed to reach fever pitch on the very day that Browder was testifying.

Good thing the Special Counsel Robert Mueller appears to have been paying attention.
Mueller convened a grand jury this week which can issue subpoenas
and force the rich folk like Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort who usually think they are above the law to testify ...under oath.

Russia-gate is going to go on and on. I doubt Trump Jr. will wind up in a cage in the middle of a courtroom. But he probably should. And I can dream if I want to.
