...You gotta remember that in America, Asians were NOT welcomed with open arms. We've been lynched, excluded from immigration, barred from miscegenation, and forced into internment camps. After WW2, Asians were desperate to make a better life for themselves, and complacency with whiteness became instrumental to our success.

From a racist, twisted logical sense, you can see why Asian-Americans fall back on anti-Blackness: it's a shortcut to white acceptance and a better life...
