Okay. Some of the "political" ambassadors have been in their jobs forever regardless of administration. But some of those ambassador jobs are pay to play (You donate to my campaign. I make you an ambassador when I get to be president) But yanking ambassador out without a replacement is still idiotic.
Ambassadors are here and there and everywhere so that each country can keep an eye on one another...and communicate quickly when things come up.
And now there's a rumor (courtesy of gizmodo.com) that Stupid told the head of the National Nuclear Security Administration and his deputy to clean out their desks when he takes office on January 20th.
I am calling this "a rumor" because none of the major news outlets have confirmed this to be so.
However,
it seems just like Stupid
to say something like this
THEN see the backlash
THEN lie about never having said it.
Whatever though. So long as The Deranged Cheeto takes it back...
You know what? I've been thinking for a long time that some of us are not going to make it through 4 years. I mean, you can't have someone in power spew that much white supremacy and not have a few underling low-life overtly racist white people -- that are smarter than Dylann Roof -- pop all the way off. It's a matter of time. But now I'm starting to wonder if ANY of us are going to make it.
Is he really removing ambassadors from all over the planet and also trying to leave a months long vacancy in the office that maintains our nuclear weapons?
Really?
Anything so that nobody that was connected to the President Obama remains behind.

In any case, we'll never know if the gizmodo story was/is real. But if it was real, I hope it become not-real as a result of the backlash.
