"The Senate voted overwhelmingly Wednesday to allow Congress to block any efforts by the president to scale back sanctions against Russia, and to strengthen those sanctions in retaliation for Moscow’s alleged interference in the 2016 election and its actions in Syria.
The vote of 97 to 2 is a sharp rebuke to President Trump’s posture on Russia and his resistance to the intelligence community’s assessment that the country was behind efforts to influence the election he won.
The two senators who voted against the measure were Republicans Rand Paul (Ky.) and Mike Lee (Utah).
Trump has repeatedly and openly doubted the intelligence community’s finding that Russia meddled in the presidential election. While his administration has not ordered a rollback of any existing sanctions, lawmakers have been concerned about his conciliatory, and at times even forgiving, rhetoric about Russia, as well as recent moves to give Moscow back control over two diplomatic compounds that the Obama administration reclaimed in late December."

Wouldn't it be funnier than h*ll to find out --years later when Trump is a loose lipped babbling old man (more so than now)-- that his approach toward Russia was simply white supremacy gone wild?

Russia is an enemy. The word "enemy" is what you call a group of folks who try to undermine your democracy.
So what if Trump's stance on Russia is just simple-minded white racism? I mean it. Google anything having to do with President Obama. Chucklehead McTwitter Wit is obsessed with the black man who became president before he did.
This week Trump even decided to role back our relations with Cuba. Officials say this is due to the way Cuba does it's democratic voting and its record on human rights -- something like that. Whatever the reason given, it's a lie. We know perfectly damn well Trump doesn't give two nickels about anybody's rights, human, civil, or otherwise, He did a tour of the middle east a few weeks back and didn't say "boo" about any country's poor human rights record.
Trump's new Cuba stance could be as complicated as "Obama went right so I'm gonna go left."
There are real reasons to have different opinions on Cuba. I'm not saying there aren't. I AM saying Mean Tangerine doesn't know what those reasons are.
Mean Tangerine was not qualified to be president in any way. At this point, I'm hoping Oprah Winfrey runs in 2020.
But back to the point: Cuba
I'm not sure how President Obama's easing up on Cuba affects not-white Cubans ability to come to the United States, but if Cubans can come here more easily too that could be the icing on Mean Tangerine's alt-Right/ alt-Reich cake.
And there are reports that Trump's new Cuba stance takes out some of his hotel chain's competition too.
