WALMART stopped selling the AR-15 three years ago. And this change is largely symbolic as WALMART and DICK'S SPORTING GOODS don't sell a huge percentage of assault rifles. But this is majorly symbolic of a rift in the gun lobby.
The company said in a statement Wednesday that it decided to review its firearm sales policy "in light of recent events." "Going forward, we are raising the age restriction for purchase of firearms and ammunition to 21 years of age.
