WHEN PEOPLE TELL YOU WHO THEY ARE --AS A CREDIT TO THEIR RACE-- BELIEVE THEM

Bill Cosby's "Pound Cake" speech, Kanye's statement that slavery was a choice [after a certain point]; and every fourth thing that comes out of Ben Carson's mouth are meant to convey the same thing.

They are essentially saying, 'Being black and dealing with white supremacy hasn't really slowed me down a bit. I conquered. I won. I have Dragon Blood. I am King Ding-A-Ling.  I think the rest of you black folks are simply making excuses.'
Kanye just took white supremacist concept "You are a credit to your race" to the next level by saying not only is he superior to 99% of black people on the planet now, he is also superior to all his ancestors too limited to think about freeing themselves from slavery as well.

And if a Hannibal Buress joke hadn't caught the wind on a slow news day a few years back, Bill Cosby would still be looking down at ordinary black folks from on high right now. And an even larger percentage of black people would be defending him despite anti-black rants like the "Pound Cake Speech."

The thing that gets me about two out of three of them is that entertainment careers are 80% dependent upon luck.

I don't care how talented Cosby and Kanye are. You and I and all of us have met people at parties, at work, and on the street who are more talented than they are.
An entertainer has to work hard in order to be prepared when opportunity comes a knockin. But opportunities that land you on a stage, a television show, or the big screen fairly strictly depend on luck.
Ben Carson is the only one might have authentic macho bragging rights. But brain surgeon or not, if brains were explosives, Ben Carson wouldn't have brains enough to blow up a gnats left butt cheek.

The only reason Bill Cosby isn't still acting like he's been made an honorary white man via wealth is because he forgot the word "honorary" is being used like it was when they 60 some odd colleges told him they were giving him an "honorary" college degree despite his having dropped out of high school after having failed 10th grade twice.

The word "honorary" when you use it in front of "white man" or "degree" means "fake."

And Cosby is in a downward spiral for the same reason ex-NFL player and rapist Darren Sharper went down. Once these two black men were no longer making the white men that made them even richer, the white men stopped protecting them.

That is, for so long as Bill Cosby was on I SPY, being JELLO PUDDING MAN, doing stand up, and creating THE BILL COSBY SHOW, and A DIFFERENT WORLD, he was a big earner. That made him worth white protection.
By the same token, the football player Darren Sharper was worth white protection right up until he retired.
Ben Carson better not have a single skeleton in his closet because he will go down the same way. Everything bit of power he possesses at this point is based on white love of his being "a credit to his race."

Kanye? He seems a bit more insulated from white power brokers. That is, his career doesn't seem as dependent on white gate keepers. However, Kanye still has that "honorary white man" attitude.

When he made the statement where he clearly stated that black people remained slaves for decades by choice due to our being mentally enslaved in way that he is not, has never been (superiority clearly implied) Kanye's word choice was interesting.

Incredulous, Kanye added "All y'all?"

"All Y'all?" means "All of you?" And Kanye said this, acting out a hypothetical conversation with black people like he is not a black person too. Kanye returns to the pronoun "we" right after this part of his tirade. But a white person saying such a thing would have beencalled out as an anti-black racist for having made a "those people" statement

-- and rightly so, because this is exactly what happened.

Kanye West made anti-black racist statement where he said black people remained enslaved for 400 years because we are mentally inferior.

And this faux white man named Kanye is having a rich white man's existential problem right now.

  • I'm rich
  • I'm bored
  • Why am I even alive?
  • I need something else to conquer to feel like  man
  • Getting even richer isn't going to do anything for me.
  • The only feathers left to put in my cap have to do with wielding power

This Toxic Masculinity thought process is why Donald Trump decided to run for president.

And Kanye loves Donald Trump because he wants the same thing, power. And Kanye understands that there is power in whiteness.

Kanye, Bill, and Ben are not alone. Men that dabble in toxic masculinity are a large chunk of every racial/ethnic group.

With black men, however, the desire to stomp out racial injustice will just barely edge out toxic masculinity desires. But when toxic masculinity wins inside a black man -- when collecting more money; collecting more women; or collecting more power than other men means more than anything else-- that's when 13% of black men will vote for a white supremacist like Donald Trump.

A black male vote for the republicans in 2012 means to me that one out of every eight black men you might meet on any given day believe they know where the hand holds are on white supremacy mountain. When the vote for republicans climbs from 11% in 2012 up to 13% when Donald Trump was at the head of ticket means these black men are sure they can make that climb to the top of a white supremacy based system and that those complaining about white  racism are just whiny losers.

The republican party doesn't just represent more overt white racism, it also represents the "haves" taking more from the "have-nots" and the "have less-es." The republicans take a very Darwin-esque approach to society.

To me, it's apparent that some of the black men and women who vote republican have not read the biographies of rich and powerful black men. Some of those who voted for Trump have not read about the frustration of the man, who has made his money by creating his own corporation, who knows his product is better than the white man who runs the business next door yet the white man's net worth is several tens of millions more.

White supremacy affects all black people at all income levels.

This is how it comes to be that Kanye West is not a unique black  man for aligning himself with republicans or with Trump --not by a long shot.

Having been bombarded all his life by white beauty aesthetic, Kanye West may have married Kim Kardashian because she's white adjacent in appearance -- same as 80% of the interracially paired-off and light-bright* paired-off black men in Hollywood.  But Kanye is making an even whiter choice now.

He's choosing to say things that please not just a white audience, but a white racist audience. He's saying things to please Donald Trump's audience. And if Kanye goes far enough, he may be able to be taken seriously the next time he says he wants to run for president

A mixture of arrogance, toxic masculinity, and internalized racism have taken Bill Cosby, Kanye West, and Ben Carson away from us --along with most of 1 in 8 black men.

When the toxic masculinity value of winning-out against all others is at the core of so many white, black, and brown men, is it any wonder that TM shows up in the black community as trying to defend Toxic Masculinity's obvious winners?

Ben Carson is too big a sell out for most black people -- maybe even some of those who voted for Trump. But Bill Cosby is rich and famous and screwed a bunch of women same as  Hugh Hefner was rich and famous and screwed a bunch of women. Kanye West is rich and famous and can screw a bunch of women if he wants to

Black men who engage in and enjoy toxic masculinity  are not going to trash a black man who has "made it" -- not even if he rapes white and light women, not even if he says black mental enslavement was the reason for the duration of physical enslavement, not even if he starts sex cults so he can rape young black girls

White supremacy might be the black community's greatest threat from the outside

But Toxic Masculinity and male supremacy are the black community's greatest threat from the inside.

Chris Rock once said something like, "Whatever white people hate about black people, [some] black people REALLY HATE about black people."

He was describing internalized racism. And when internalized racism suffers like Kanye agree with a large percentage of guilt addled white people, those feeling guilty feel relieved somewhat and the white racist loves him. Ther's NOTHING that's going to make the white racist happier than some dumb ass with a black face saying 9/10ths of slavery was mostly black folks fault for being mentally enslaved.

Kanye may or may not know this, because he's not that bright. He's been guilty of the "absence of thought" long before Van Lathan called him out during an TMZ interview. I'm glad other people are finally seeing it.

See this too:
Again, Kanye is a bored rich ma, just like his idol Trump.
And he's looking for the next thing, ust like his idol Trump.

Kanye is after power which is why he is alienating black audience in search of a white one.

He's already said he's interested in being president. The next few times he says it over the next few years, fewer people will be laughing at him. White folks are going to think he has "common sense" that other black folks don't.

Kanye is actively going after that "credit-to-your-race" status because there is power in whiteness, even "honorary" whiteness.

Some of my people appear to need to see that Kanye is bleaching himself on the outside just like Michael Jackson was when he was engulfed by whiteness. But I know that won't work convince some black people either. A lot of black people refused to see how damaged Michael Jackson was by his trying to appease and be appealing to a predominantly white power structure in Hollywood, not to mention the country. Michael Jackson's damage by white supremacy was as plain as the nose on his face.

And Kanye's damage is as plain as the words coming out of his mouth...same as Bill Cosby, same as Ben Carson

INTERNALIZED RACISM

*Colorism and Dating Preferences Of Black Men:
A professor told me that sociological studies have shown that the much higher rates of interracial marriage among affluent black men represents a trade of money ("security") for the white woman in exchanged for status (her white skin) for the black man.

Day to day observation among my black male friends and relatives seems to indicate that this is true.

In my opinion, just like an individual black woman choosing to relax her hair or wear a straight weave is not a problem UNTIL 90% of black women wear their hair this way because it is the only way to be/feel accepted in society, black men choosing a non-black wife is not a problem until marrying out becomes the only way to be/feel accepted as successful in society; and marrying out at white or marrying light seems to be a pattern that's indicative of a bigger internal racism/ colorism problem among rich black male Hollywood elite and rich black male athletes.
