PERFECT HEALTHCARE VS OBAMACARE VS TRUMPCARE

IDEAL HEALTHCARE
IN THE U.S.
IN A PERFECT WORLD

All the parts can be seen. All the parts are moving. All the parts are in harmony with one another. Everybody can get all the healthcare they need when they are sick, no matter how rich or how poor
  *****************************

If you don't have healthcare insurance or tons of money = Emergency room in dire circumstances. Tax payers wind up paying exhorbitant emergency room costs instead of regular doctor visits when a large percentage of these people cannot pay.

REALITY 1:

OBAMA PASSING HEALTHCARE
WITH WHITE REPUBLICAN OSTRUCTIONISTS
PROTECTING THE ONE - PERCENT

"DEATH PANEL" SCARE TACTIC
SEMI-WORKS ON
THE LOW EDUCATION
AND
THE WHITE RACISTS LOOKING TO BELIEVE THE WORST
OF A BLACK PREZ,
CUTTING NOSE OFF TO SPITE FACE

All the parts are not moving, some things are blocked, costs are rising. And some of what doesn't work is due to deliberate derailing by Joe Lieberman.

FANTASY LAND 1:
IMPROVEMENTS MADE TO OBAMACARE
IF HILLARY HAD BEAT TRUMP
measures taken to lower costs, to stabilize

FANTASY LAND 2:
IMPROVEMENTS MADE TO OBAMACARE
IF HILLARY HAD BEAT TRUMP
more measures taken to lower costs, to stabilize

BACK TO REALITY: TRUMPCARE 1.0

REPEAL AND REPLACE GOAL 1:
STABILIZE THE ONE-PERCENT'S MONEY ANY WHICH WAY YOU CAN (THE 1% = THE HEALTH INSURERS)

REPEAL AND REPLACE GOAL 2:
INSURE  THAT THERE IS ZERO COMPETITION WITH THE FOR PROFIT HEALTH INSURERS. PRICES FOR HEALTH INSURANCE STABLE OR RISING ALL THE TIME.

  • DECREASE number of people covered by getting rid of expanded medicare.
  • DECREASE subsidies for the elderly and the poor.
  • DO NOT FORCE EMPLOYERS TO PAY SOME OF INSURANCE PREMIUMS( I haven't seen this yet, but that's one of the main things conservatives talk about with healthcare, isn't it?)

REPEAL AND REPLACE GOAL 3:

STABILIZE THE ONE-PERCENT'S MONEY BY HEADING BACK TOWARD THE OLD STATUS QUO
MAKE SURE THE HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVE ALL THE POWER. Those more at risk for getting sick (poor and seniors), get less financial assistace.

LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE

FROM NBC
"A new Republican health care plan keeps much of the basic framework set up by Obamacare, but with a conservative twist, analysts say.
But it's full of holes, with no detail on how to pay for its provisions and no estimates at all of how much it will cost taxpayers.
While conservatives praised the emphasis on personal responsibility, liberals said it would take newly won health insurance away from millions and cost people protection from some of the worst abuses of the insurance industry..."

Trumpcare does keep pre-existing condition coverage and it gets rid of the tax penalty for those who refuse to get coverage. Both of these things sound good. But one of them really isn't.

You know what? I didn't like that Obamacare penalty for those how failed to get insurance either.

It seemed like pouring salt in the wound of the poor. At the same time, I understood that Obamacare needed a lot of poor young users that don't get sick very often to go into Obama to make the rest of the plan work -- same as any other insurance company.

That's why I thought raising the age that children could be covered under their parents plan to 26 AT THE SAME TIME was a mistake. If I had been President Obama, I would have raised the age that parents can cover their children to 24 and no higher  --not until Obamacare was financially stable. (I would have hoped older parents would have helped the 25 and 26 year old's pay for their own separate healthcare premiums.)

What I also understood about forcing people to get coverage was that if the working poor didn't get coverage, they'd continue to do what they always do.They would get very sick then go to the emergency room. When the poor do that, the hospital charges 10x to 100x the normal rate of a normal doctor visit. Then when the poor can't pay that for that exorbitant emergency room visit, the taxpayers wind up paying the unpaid bill.

Obamacare's tax fine was essentially a decision that the working poor should pay for their own insurance and pay at a much lower rate (non-emergency room rates) INSTEAD OF middle class people with jobs paying for their own healthcare premiums then paying again via taxes for unpaid emergency-room-rate healthcare bills.

Trumpcare gets rid of that tax that nobody liked. But it's shortsighted.

What is long-sighted is that 30% premium the Trumpcare covered will pay if they have the audacity to lose their job then get a new job three months later OR have some other sort of financial emergency.

Under Trumpcare, anything that causes a break in coverage means the consumer gets to pay a whopping 30% premium as a penalty. Conservatives sees this 30% fine as protecting health insurance companies from the poor which the conservatives always see as 80% full of con artists.* In any case, I'm wondering who gets all this extra money --- the healthcare insurance company?

Pssst!  Watch Michael Moore's SICKO documentary. It's more than you think. It's about how you THINK you're covered by insurance dance around not paying until you literally die.

By the way, seeing the poor as 80% con artist and 90% brown (as opposed to reality) is how the white Christian Conservative sleeps at night. Every cut to the poor is seen as a cut to "those people" who are bad or low in character anyway.
