FRANCHESCA DEBUNKS THE 10 EXCUSES USED TO DENY RACISM

The one thing I really wish Franchesca Ramsey had covered in the video below is how 95% of poor white people's participation in slavery is what held racism in place -- not the 10% of 5% of 4% that owned slaves.

A functional chattel-type slavery requires that the slaves have no place to run. And poor white people provided that requirement.

Rich white people engaged poor white people by telling poor whites that their whiteness made them kings even as they were so poor they were eating weeds out of their gardens to survive -- and they mostly bought it. The movie 12 YEARS A SLAVE could have expounded upon that point a little more too.

The descendents of poor non-slave owning white folks attitudes have been passed down generation to generation too. Make no mistake. That's why Chucklehead McTwitterwit is president right now.

The other place you used to be able to see how the descendents of 90 to 95% of non-slave owning whites think was on google. Up until at least 2006, a white man named John Brown was seen as a crazy radical extremist --just because he was one of the first white people to think destroying the white supremacy holding slavery in place was worth going to war over, worth risking his life over.

So, I wish there was a historical google search engine so I could show you how he was disparaged by the descendents of non-slave owning white folks who simply did not think slavery was worth killing other white people over.

Again, the poor white person was critical to keeping slavery in place. And their middle class and poor descendants are critical to keeping the modern day Paddy Rollers (cops) able to murder unarmed black people sans consequences to this day.

But the video is only 5 minutes long. So we'll forgive her for not roping poor whites into the center of her third point -- this time.
