Officially Mueller was supposedly not investigating Trump and Trump's White House

Everybody knows Special Counsel Mueller, who was hired after Trump fired the FBI Director investigating Trump's campaign for possibly colluding with is investigating Trump and Trump's White House. 

Anybody who has been paying attention to McTwitterWit's personality knows the orange man who thought he was King for most of 2017 knew he threatened to fire Mueller a long time ago....even though staff like Kellyanne Conway lied about his wanting to fire Mueller.

The New York Times broke this story. But NBC confirmed the story with at least one of the sources.  

Trump can't "fake news" his way out of this.

According to the Times, Trump’s reasons for wanting Mueller fired last June included: a past dispute allegedly involving Mueller over fees at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, when Mueller was FBI director; that Mueller could not be impartial because he had most recently worked for the law firm that had previously represented the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner; and because Mueller had been interviewed to return as the F.B.I. director the day before he was appointed special counsel in May.

White House Counsel Don McGahn refused to ask the Justice Department to fire Mueller, and threatened to quit instead. He told senior White House officials that dismissing Mueller would have disastrous effects on Trump's presidency, the source confirmed to NBC News.
