  • The special counsel Robert Mueller's team is preparing to introduce 2.5 times as much evidence in Paul Manafort's second trial as it did in his first.
  • In Manafort's first trial, prosecutors showed the jury around 400 documents, emails, and financial records to make their case.
  • In his second, they plan to put forth "well over" 1,000 pieces of evidence, and they expect to take 10 to 12 days to make their case.
  • Manafort is charged with illegal lobbying, conspiracy, money laundering, and obstruction of justice in the second trial.
