Yeah. That happened this week.
Rarely speaking in public anymore, President Obama did decide to give a speech at the University of Illinois this week. And he did verbal version of an electric slide, moving hard left, while bringing home the message. 
He got a beat going during the speech. And the timing of it was excellent.

That immoral coward sitting in the White House along side Trump --the one who wrote about Trump being amoral and unfit to be president-- posted an article in the NY Times just before President Obama's speech. Bob Woodward's book FEAR came out shortly before that. And somewhere in there Trump discovered google exists and that it's keeping track of his every disgusting and/or stupid thing that's ever passed his lying lips.And now President Obama has given a speech a few months before the mid-term elections, with an actual message. Even Americans with short memories and even shorter attention spans won't forget the theme:
OUR FLAWED DEMOCRACY IS IN DANGER
The choice is to follow that amoral thing
that made it to the White House
or
to head in exactly the opposite direction
