Chrisette Michele announced that she's been dropped by her record label after being kicked to the curb by black folks, mostly black women fans, because she decided to support Donald Trump by singing at his inauguration.
Do you remember how difficult it was for Trump's people to find somebody to perform at his inauguration?
For a while his organization was looking for somebody, anybody to sing at his inauguration. It got embarrassing because a lot of people said no. A couple of white groups that said "yes" initially changed their minds when fans went nuts.
Eventually, DaChump's camp found a couple white performers who don't mind ethnoracism and misogyny that much. But then they still had to make the inauguration look less like a nationalistic white supremacist rally, so they started looking for black performers.
According to reports, Kanye was never even asked, despite his buddying-up to Trump. Apparently Kanye's very black style weren't seen as "traditionally" American enough. (Apparently rap scares nationalistic white supremacists. They think there's embedded code for storm the all massa-wanna-be-s'
mansions and all the expensive econo-box-homes owned by white folk in the suburbs)
Time passed and Trump's people wound up talking to Chrisette Michele's people. And Michele agreed to sing for him, though it wasn't at the inauguration at self.
- Chrisette Michele decided to go sing for a president who tried to have 5 teenagers, black and latino kids, put to death for a rape they didn’t commit. This man still called for their deaths 20 years later after DNA evidence exonerated them and the real rapist confessed.
- Long before his reprehensible behavior with the Central Park 5, he was sued for trying to keep black people from renting his properties.
- About a decade ago, he started that birther crap with President Obama and continued saying President Obama wasn't really born here throughout his campaign. And his white supremacist followers are actually stupid enough to want to think it's possible someone who wasn't born here was allowed to become president.
This is who Chrisette Michele supported by singing at his inauguration
- One of the first things the Racist-In-Chief did was appoint a Supreme Court Justice who had recently, as a federal judge, that a black man, Alphonse Maddin, should have stayed with his broken down truck and allowed himself to die in the snow when it was 14 degrees below zero outside -- in order to avoid being fired.
- Since that appointment, this president said some of those “blood and soil” chanting Alt-Right Neo Nazi’s in Charlottesville were “good people” And Trump still has at least one Alt-Right-er in the White House right now.
This only describes a fraction of how this man has proven himself an enemy of black people, brown people, and half-way conscious women.
Yet Chrisette Michele supported this person and has yet to apologize for performing for this lowlife, someone who would just as soon see black folks dead or destroyed. I'm surprised he doesn't have a Black Lives Don't Matter t-shirt to go with that red Make America White Again cap he loved so much during his campaign. This is who she supported.
And for what? Prestige? It had to have been greed for some kind of power or publicity because she didn’t get paid THAT much.
It was her decision to support Trump. We, as black women made the decision to stop buying her music almost instantly. Since I think we were main ones buying her music, I think we as black women can claim we are the ones that destroyed Michele’s career in about 9 months.
And I’m proud of that. PROUD.
Yet Chrisette Michele supported this person and has yet to apologize for performing for this lowlife, someone who would just as soon see black folks dead or destroyed. I'm surprised he doesn't have a Black Lives Don't Matter t-shirt to go with that red Make America White Again cap he loved so much during his campaign. This is who she supported.

Black men, and the PICK-ME-s that follow them, oughta be ashamed of not having done the same to R. Kelly, Chris Brown, and frankly Kanye too.
I am truly sorry about her miscarriage. And I am glad she’s not suicidal anymore, if that actually happened and wasn't just a ploy for sympathy. But even if these two personal tragedies did occur it seems easy to see how manipulative she might be by sharing this deeply personal information at the same time as she informs the world that she's been dropped by her record label.
There's a lot of yuck factor here no matter what she went through.
Any way I slice it, the phrase “All my skinfolk ain’t my kinfolk” most definitely applies to this self-serving, know-nothing who hasn’t even come close to apologizing.
