THE 43rd PRESIDENT ISSUES PREEMPTIVE STRIKE APOLOGY AFTER TWO SEXUAL HARASSMENT ALLEGATIONS
GEORGE H. W. BUSH, 43rd PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATE
Sexual Blackmail: When a powerful man touches a woman in a sexual way and essentially dares to say it bothers her, knowing full well it'll be her that loses her credibility, her that loses her ability to advance in her job, or her that loses the job itself because she can't overlook "little things" like a man groping her behind ...from his wheelchair, with his wife standing right beside him Two women accused Bush of groping them. He apologized both times. Then there was a statement seemed to say he's "used to" sexually harassing women without using the words "sexual harassment."
So when they said Bush was "used to" giving women "friendly pats" on the buttocks were they saying he sexually blackmailed so many women there's no point in dozens and dozens more coming forward to say he did it? On a scale of 1 to 10 maybe this is 2 or 3, with something close to fear of rape being a 10. (I'm making this scale up on the fly. Pardon me) But the thing men that have abused their power don't get is that women have to wonder how far up the scale she's going to have to go, what's she's going to have to put up with to keep on making her living. Men like Bush will never decide that they contributed to the environment that enabled Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby to exist. I don't know if men are getting it yet, but damn near every woman has been touched and fondled sexually by some asshole who knew he could get away with it. The silent blackmail is always there with sexual harassment. Whether the harassment is mild or strong, the black mail is always there.
CLAIM: Former first lady Barbara Bush said that [mostly black] New Orleans refugees being housed in the Houston Astrodome [after Hurricane Katrina] were “underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them.”
That's why it doesn't surprise me Barbara was standing there while her husband was groping another woman's buttocks, especially if Babs might have considered that woman to have a lower class or lower station in life. She might have stood by for that more than once. Race isn't the only thing that people use to discount the humanity of others. BLACKCHICKROCKED.BLOGSPOT.COM
